The Breville BKC700XL is one of the most technically advanced single serve machines on the market. Interaction with the machine is done with a set of control buttons and a large color display. This makes it possible to set up your personal preferences on parameters such as brewing heat and strength. The unit is designed to use K-cups, so there is a wide variety of coffee capsules to choose from.

The biggest drawback of the unit is its price. The price of $300 should get you a decent semi-automatic espresso machine instead. That will give you more control over the brewing process, and  better coffee quality. The Breville is also quite big, so it takes up a lot of space in the kitchen.

The Breville BKC700XL review score is 7.0 out of 10.
